Stella
On December 11th 2012, the Borderview team had a surprising discovery of two puppies tied to the back door of the clinic. One pup was male, the other female, and they were estimated to be about 5 months of age. To the astonishment of BVH staff, these pups were extremely charming, friendly and sweet, and it didn’t take long for the two of them to find their forever homes. It was love at first sight between our Receptionist Sesellee and the female puppy Stella, and the rest is history. Stella is truly a one in a million dog. She loves every person that she meets, and is good with most dogs (although she can be a bit bossy!). Stella is a very “busy” dog, and her mom works hard to keep her active. Stella LOVES walks, and has participated in Agility, Rally Obedience, Tricks classes, Canicross and Bike-Joring. She likes to do things her way, and can be a challenge to motivate unless food is involved! She is very independent, but does enjoy a good cuddle now and then (on her terms). In 2015 Stella was diagnosed with chronic bladder inflammation. This condition is managed by diet and monthly injections, and has not slowed this saucy dog down one bit! She is happiest when she is bossing her housemates around at home and being treated like a princess by her dad.
