Jeff
Jeff is quite the character, and it could certainly be said that he wears many “hats” at Borderview. Jeffy first came into the Borderview family in February 2010, when he found his way to Sesellee’s house as an adult cat. His sweet disposition, sassy attitude, and crazy antics certainly made him stand out, but sadly did not impress the other pets in the household. Jeffy can have a bit of a temper, and took his frustrations out on the other family cat. Unfortunately, after a few years of trying to keep the household together, Sesellee had to admit it was time to find Jeff a new home. In came Rosemary, one of our RVT’s. A true animal lover, Rosemary agreed to take Jeffy, on trial to see if he would work out at her house, it was quickly discovered that they were a match made in heaven, and he won her over and took over her house! One of Jeff’s many talents is that he is an incredibly tolerant cat (at least when it comes to the people that he adores), so he has become an ambassador of sorts for Borderview. One of Rosemary’s hobbies is knitting, and when you have a very tolerant cat, and a love of crafting, wonderful things happen! Jeffy now enjoys modeling Rosemary’s knitting creations, which include a wide assortment of hats, Halloween costumes, Easter and Christmas outfits, and so much more! He has been our muse for Holiday photo shoots, National Cupcake Day, and just about any other excuse we can think of to have him model on our “catwalk”. His plucky attitude and willingness to please, has placed him in the position of unofficial mascot. He is adored by everyone at Borderview and seems to enjoy every minute of the attention bestowed upon his greatness.
