Our goal is to provide optimal veteri­nary care to our patients, educate our clients and build long-lasting, mutu­ally beneficial relationships.

We are a fully accred­ited compan­ion animal hospi­tal meeting all of the require­ment of the College of Veteri­nar­i­ans of Ontario (CVO), cvo​.org, our provin­cial licens­ing body. We have also earned accred­i­ta­tion with the Amer­i­can Animal Hospi­tal Asso­ci­a­tion (AAHA), aaha​.org, a volun­tary, world-wide orga­ni­za­tion that recog­nizes ​“the Stan­dard of Veteri­nary Excel­lence”. AAHA stan­dards are over and above the minimum provin­cial stan­dards set by the CVO, and require accred­ited prac­tices to constantly strive to improve in all aspects of prac­tice. We have worked hard to achieve our AAHA-accred­ited desig­na­tion, and we take our oblig­a­tions to provide best care options to each pet, every time!

Pelham Animal Hospi­tal has been serving the pets of Fonthill and the surround­ing area since 1979. The prac­tice was purchased by Dr Johnathan McTag­gart in 2019. Since then, Dr McTag­gart and his team have worked tire­lessly to meet the clients and patients of PAH, and provide the same level of care for them as we would for our own pets. As a growing prac­tice, PAH was thrilled when Dr Alexan­dra Lee joined the team in 2020. We are delighted that Dr Nikki Price chose to join our team in 2022.
